CORPORATE TRAINING

How We Can Support You

TLDR: We offer workplace training to facilitate better understanding and accommodation for neurodivergent individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Over the past few years, we have observed a significant rise in the number of clients experiencing difficulty at work due to mismanagement or lack of understanding of their needs.

We have developed a training programme to support workforces and assist them in understanding their neurodivergent employees/coworkers.  This training will deliver presentations to business communities and social care providers who could benefit from a deeper understanding of the neurodivergent people they work with.

The benefit to businesses is that by having the understanding of the experience of a person who is ADHD or Autistic, means you are better able to understand the things they find difficult. With this understanding we can then develop and apply strategies that support that individuals processing and so encourage greater productivity and better mental health outcomes related to work.

The danger of not understanding and accommodating our neurodivergent co-workers is that this can lead to that individual struggling either with the work itself, strained workplace relationships, with communication, environmental challenges and overwhelm.

Being able to understand these difficulties, may allow you to make accommodations for co-workers, thus retaining their skills and abilities as an employee/co-worker and preventing avoidable mistakes, poor time management, emotional dysregulation, costly re-employment, recurring or prolonged sick leave.

What does this involve?

Quality, comprehensive training is the most effective way to make your workplace more neurodiversity friendly. Providing this education to all employees can help improve their understanding of the people they work with, learn how other people may process communication, reduce any stigmas that people may have of all the different neuro-types and make changes to processes or policies to promote a more efficient and supportive working environment.

This training is also hugely beneficial in the understanding of the wider community and your target clients. In each and every role we will come across neurodivergent individuals and most people in the neurodivergent community would report feeling misunderstood, mistreated or unsupported by services or retailers.

As a business you have an opportunity to learn how to be supportive, how to understand and accommodate your target market and as a result retain the custom of this significant proportion of society.

More and more companies are recognising the need for this deeper understanding of neurodiversity and the benefit it can have for their business.

These training packages are competitively priced and can be tailored to suit all organisations and industries.
